Intel ICH7R/ICH8R/ICH9/ICH10 Matrix Storage Manager 8.8.0.1009 Windows XP/2003/2008/Vista(all x32/x64).

This driver provides support for high-capacity & fault-tolerant Serial ATA (SATA) RAID 5 arrays and high-performance & fault-tolerant SATA RAID 10 arrays on select Intel 4 Series, 3 Series, 965, 975X, 955X and 945 chipset-based platforms. It provides support for high-performance SATA RAID 0 arrays & redundant SATA RAID 1 arrays on select Intel? 4 Series, 3 Series, 965, 975X, 955X, 945, 925, 915 chipset-based platforms. It also provides AHCI support on select Intel? 4 Series, 3 Series, 965, 975X, 955X, 945, 925 and 915 chipset-based platforms, as well as on Mobile Intel? 915/910 chipset-based platforms.

Issues Resolved in 8.8.0.1009 Production Version:

  • Failure to create recovery or RAID 1 volume when source drive’s serial number is greater than 15 characters
  • Intel Turbo Memory incompatible with IOCTL_ATA_PASSTHROUGH
  • Extra Space in Option ROM UI String
  • Plug/unplug of eSATA device during DVD playback causes momentary playback hang
  • 0x7B blue screen when a recovery volume contains a mix of locked and unlocked states in Manual Sync mode
  • Fatal errors while running CRC injection testing
  • OROM Incorrectly shows a Volume Size of 0.0GB
  • Driver does not unload properly which can result in a blue screen or system hang in specific systems (typically those booting from external controller)
  • SATA ODD is not detected after the 2nd hot plug-in after using Safely Remove option
